Furthermore, as part of their crackdown, Thai officials have implemented measures such as cutting electricity, internet, and fuel supplies to five regions in Myanmar known for harboring these illegal operations. Additionally, the Thai army reported receiving 260 human trafficking victims from Myanmar, with a significant number being from Ethiopia, further highlighting the complexity of this humanitarian crisis.
