Proforce Secures Orders for PF Hulk from Mali and Nigeria at IDEX 2025
Proforce announced at IDEX 2025 that Mali and Nigeria have ordered the PF Hulk protected vehicle, a licensed AMN-590951 ‘Spartak’. The vehicle features significant specifications, including mine protection and a powerful engine. Proforce is also offering an upgraded version named the PF Viper, which is adapted for African environments.
Proforce, a prominent Nigerian defense manufacturer, announced at IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi that both Mali and Nigeria have placed orders for the PF Hulk protected vehicle. This event took place from February 17 to 21, 2025, showcasing Proforce’s capabilities in producing advanced military vehicles.
The PF Hulk is a licensed version of the AMN-590951 ‘Spartak’, a 4×4 protected vehicle originally designed in Russia. It can accommodate up to ten personnel in a five-door configuration, weighs 14.5 tonnes, and is powered by a 6.65-liter YaMZ-536 engine generating 360 horsepower. The vehicle has been designed to meet mine protection standards according to STANAG 4569 at levels 2a and 2b.
Additionally, Proforce is introducing the PF Viper, an upgraded variant of the Otokar Cobra vehicle. This enhancement includes an extra pair of doors to create a five-door model and improvements to the engine’s cooling system to adapt to the African climate. The PF Viper weighs seven tonnes and features a 3-liter V6 Hyundai engine that produces 250 horsepower.
