Dr. Richard Njoroge, the Deputy Government Pathologist, performed the autopsy, accompanied by homicide detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations in Nairobi. However, Dr. Njoroge refrained from revealing the cause of death, stating, “I cannot not speak today, not today,” when approached by the media after the procedure.

The body of Mr. Scott was discovered in a sack, alongside pineapples, in Makongo Forest by a cattle herder on Sunday.
