Following her death, Police Chief Commissioner General Stephen Mutamba extended his condolences to her family and mandated a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting, as stated by police spokesman Commissioner Paul Nyathi.

As of Friday, reports indicate that the suspect responsible for Hove’s death remains at large; however, authorities have apprehended three men suspected of being connected to the incident.
