Recent reports from Ukrainian media suggest that the North Korean forces have notably improved their capabilities in drone warfare and guerrilla tactics upon their return. Instead of mass assaults, they are now employing more strategic methods by operating in smaller units. A significant maneuver resulted in breaking through Ukrainian defenses south of the Russian town of Sudzha, effectively disrupting a critical supply route for Kyiv.

In a bid to strengthen their position, Kim Jong-un has dispatched an additional 3,000 personnel to bolster the Storm Corps, which includes sappers, electronic specialists, and infantry units. Furthermore, North Korean Bulsae-4 wheeled missile launchers are now being utilized in the ongoing conflict in Kursk, according to reports from Kyiv Post. Should Ukrainian forces opt for a retreat, they may encounter severe limitations on vehicular movement, forcing them to evacuate on foot as Russian positions become increasingly fortified.

While President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s administration has acknowledged that they are on the defensive in Kursk, specific details regarding their strategic response remain undisclosed.
