After her national service in Ghana, she moved to the United States where she uncovered her passion for sciences. Prof. Ayensu-Danquah completed several notable milestones, including four years of undergraduate studies, four years of medical school, two years of master’s studies, and five years of surgical residency, which she described as an arduous experience. Today, she is recognized as one of the most esteemed medical practitioners globally, renowned for her expertise.

Upon returning to Ghana in 2013, following her successful international career, she dedicated herself to the nation’s development and focused particularly on improving the welfare of women and children. This commitment ultimately led her to join Parliament through the National Democratic Congress (NDC), where her medical knowledge and legislative contributions are invaluable to national progress.
