He recalls, “I used to sing all the time, everywhere—at home, for friends, for anyone who would listen. But I didn’t start recording until I got to Agahozo. That’s when I really began experimenting with my sound and meeting people who helped me grow.” Lenzy describes his music style as a blend of various sounds, primarily influenced by Afrobeat but also embracing dancehall and trap. He states, “I just want to make music that feels good—to me and to the people listening. I can do Afrobeat, dancehall, trap… I don’t box myself in.”
