The decisions made will determine the allocation of over $1 billion annually to support Israel and Jewish communities worldwide.
Herbert Block, executive director of AZM, expressed satisfaction with the unprecedented voter turnout, stating, “We are gratified to see the unprecedented voter participation in the election’s first week and anticipate that this pattern will continue throughout the voting period.” He emphasized that American Jews are proudly asserting their Zionist identity and recognizing the heightened stakes for the future of both Jewish and Israeli communities.
