Revolt Motors is expanding into Nepal with plans to open 15 showrooms, starting with a flagship store in Kathmandu next month. Revolt Motors, a prominent Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer, has announced its entry into the Nepalese market, intending to open its first showroom in Kathmandu next month. The company has formed a partnership with Nepal’s MV Dugar Group, aiming to establish a total of fifteen showrooms across major cities in Nepal within the next three to four months.
The flagship store in Kathmandu is expected to commence operations in April 2025, featuring the entire range of Revolt’s products including the RV400, RV400 BRZ, RV1, RV1+, and the newly introduced RV BlazeX. Additionally, all dealership locations will offer accessories, merchandise, and after-sales service.
Anjali Rattan, Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises Limited, Revolt’s parent organization, stated, “Nepal is a key strategic market for Revolt Motors, given its strong push for clean energy and growing demand for sustainable mobility.” She also mentioned forthcoming expansion plans into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Moti Lal Dugar, Chairman of Dugar Brothers & Sons, expressed optimism regarding the reception of Revolt’s electric motorcycles in Nepal, highlighting the increasing awareness and preference for eco-friendly transportation among consumers. This expansion follows the company’s successful entry into Sri Lanka.
Revolt Motors is set to implement early-bird promotional campaigns to promote electric motorcycle adoption in Nepal and plans to provide extensive training for dealership staff to enhance customer service and product knowledge.
