Chilling Revelations in Meerut’s Saurabh Rajpur Murder Case
The Meerut murder case of Saurabh Rajpur involves his wife Muskaan Rastogi and her lover Sahil Shukla planning and executing his murder, which included rehearsals and the use of weapons. Saurabh’s dismembered body was discovered in a cement-filled drum after Muskaan confessed. Their actions stemmed from fears over drug addiction and infidelity, deeply impacting their family.
In the disturbing Saurabh Rajpur murder case from Meerut, investigations revealed that Muskaan Rastogi, the prime accused and Saurabh’s wife, purchased two knives eight days prior for Rs 800, intending to rehearse the act of stabbing. Additionally, she acquired a cut-throat razor, which was later used to decapitate Saurabh.
Muskaan and her accomplice, Sahil Shukla, were arrested for allegedly murdering Saurabh on the night of March 3. His dismembered body was discovered two weeks later, hidden in a plastic drum, after Muskaan confessed to her parents about the crime, prompting their report to authorities. Saurabh’s family had alerted police due to concerns over his sudden disappearance.
The investigation further unveiled a web of addiction, betrayal, and ruthlessness; Muskaan and Sahil reportedly feared Saurabh would end their drug use, as he was aware of their affair. Saurabh had contemplated divorce but hesitated for the sake of their six-year-old daughter, visiting Meerut from London for her birthday when he was murdered.
Police sources indicated that Saurabh planned to renew his expiring visa during this visit and intended to take his family to London. However, Muskaan opposed this plan, opting to remain in Meerut for her relationship with Sahil, leading Saurabh to consider taking their daughter alone, for whom he had applied for a passport.
On the evening of the murder, it was reported that Muskaan drugged Saurabh with sleeping pills. After he fell asleep, she stabbed him multiple times and used the razor to cut his throat. The gruesome task of decapitating Saurabh was executed by Sahil. They subsequently dismembered the body into 15 parts, placing them in a drum filled with cement.
Initially, the couple intended to bury Saurabh’s remains under mud and plant a sapling over them. However, they changed their plan to encase the body in wet cement to mask the smell. The drum’s excessive weight ultimately led to their downfall, as local laborers were unable to lift it, resulting in Muskaan’s panic and confession to her family.
The Saurabh Rajpur murder case reveals a tragic narrative marred by familial betrayal and the consequences of illicit drug use. The premeditated actions of Muskaan Rastogi and her accomplice, Sahil Shukla, culminated in a horrific crime that not only resulted in the loss of life but also inflicted profound pain upon their families. As the investigation continues, this case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers that arise from addiction and infidelity.
