Reports indicate that the U.S. administration under President Donald Trump and Israel have initiated discussions with Sudan, Somalia, and Somaliland about resettling Palestinians from Gaza. Notably, Sudan has reportedly rejected these overtures.

The anonymous resident expressed that the possibility of moving to Somalia or Sudan is seen as a potential first step towards a better future. “I talked about this precise topic with a friend, and my friend convinced me that even if we have to go to Sudan or Somalia, we should go for it, because of a very important reason, freedom,” he stated.
