He promised her GHC 2,000, deceiving her into following him to his residence at Kas Market. Here, Boateng allegedly facilitated the sexual assault by Zurakanini, who claimed he would use his sperm for a charm.

The case was promptly brought to the legal system. Presiding Judge His Honour Yinigabagae Ketha found Boateng guilty of abetment to defilement while Zurakanini was convicted of defilement itself. Both men received hefty sentences including hard labor, a reflection of the gravity of their offenses.
