Significant Drilling Success at Etango North-East Project

Connected Minerals has recently reached significant milestones with its uranium projects in Namibia. In particular, a maiden drilling campaign at the Etango North-East project has yielded promising results. The company executed a total of 15 reverse circulation (RC) holes, totaling 2688 meters, with a specific focus on high-priority zones that had been previously pinpointed through rock-chip sampling efforts.

Strong Geological Indicators and Intercepts

Notably, fourteen of the fifteen drilled holes reported economic uranium grades, underscoring the strong geological potential of the site. This aligns well with the characteristics seen at Bannerman Energy’s adjacent Etango project. Among the standout results were intercepts of 5 meters at 358 parts per million (ppm) uranium oxide (U₃O₈) from a depth of 88 meters, which included a peak of 1 meter at an impressive 814ppm, alongside additional noteworthy grades of 4 meters at 230ppm from 47 meters and 3 meters at 312ppm from 68 meters.

Plans for Future Drilling Campaigns Ahead

Importantly, the mineralization appears to extend both at depth and along strike, prompting plans for a subsequent Phase 2 drilling campaign. As for the Swakopmund uranium project (EPL 9162), the company has successfully completed a maiden RC drilling program covering 22 holes over a distance of 105 meters. This endeavor was aimed at testing targets that an earlier geophysics survey had identified, including a promising large potential paleochannel anomaly that spans 600 meters in width.
