Samiul Islam, the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), expressed that the BSF opened fire on Al-Amin under the assumption that he was a smuggler. He mentioned that immediately after the incident, the BSF transported Al-Amin to their camp for medical intervention, but he succumbed to his injuries later that night. Communication has been established with the BSF through the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), and a flag meeting is anticipated for the exchange of information concerning the incident.
