According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, as the family was returning home, they were confronted by armed assailants. Danbaka was taken hostage, while his family members were released with a grim directive to return later for his corpse. Local security operatives and vigilantes commenced a search and rescue operation shortly after 8:20 p.m.
By 11:00 a.m. the following morning, Danbaka’s body was found at the same location. The police have expressed their commitment to thoroughly investigate this heinous crime and apprehend those responsible for the violence.
